Alumnae Chapter
The Cauvery College Alumnae Association had an effective initiative to strengthen networking and bonding between alumnae of the Institution and to utilize their expertise for the benefit of Institution and students by having Chapters in different places in Tamilnadu and other State.The first Chapter of Cauvery College Alumnae Association began in Chennai during November 2019 and established network with alumnae settled in Chennai and started planning activities for the benefit of present students. The Second Chapter of Cauvery College Alumnae Association began in Bengaluru during May 2023 to associate with alumnae settled in Bengaluru. The third Chapter of Cauvery College Association began in Coimbatore during March 2024 to get acquainted with alumnae settled in Coimbatore. The Chapter are playing key roles in the development of institution and to the development of students for their enhancement of knowledge and for career planning.
Alumnae Meet
The Alumnae meeting conducted by CCAA was instrumental in establishing networking with alumnae settled in across State,across India,across World. The Alumnae meeting culminates all the alumnae settled all over the World. The spirit of Alma Mater boost the development of the Institution and act as ambassadors and illustrious testimony of Institution for its imparting quality education with proper amenities in a conducive environment. The Alumnae meeting play a pivotal role in strengthening networking between alumnae and extends an enchanting platform for alumnae to interact with Head of the Institution, Head of the Department and faculty of departments in turn the field expertise and career positions of Alumnae had been identified with the view to make the students to utilize it to plan for their Career, projects and internships. The Alumnae of the Institution also felt extremely happy to get associated with Principal and teachers. The Alumnae meeting would be conducted in hybrid mode both Offline and Online which extended great opportunity for all to get associated with Instituion.
Prominent Alumnae
Cauvery College for Women (Autonomous) was delighted with the presence of Mrs.N.Kayalvizhi, Minister for Adi Dravidar Welfare in Tamilnadu, MLA representing Dharmapuri on 27.07.2022. Being the alumna of Cauvery College for Women, she pursued her Under Graduation in Commerce (1986-1989 Batch) and Post-Graduation in Commerce (1991-1993 Batch). She was given a hearty welcome by Mr. K. Thiruneelakandan, Secretary, College Governing Council, Mr.V. Ramanathan @ Sekar, President Trust Executive Committee, Mr. R. Murugan, Secretary of the Hostel Executive Committee. Dr. V. Sujatha, Principal of the College fondly recollected the days when the minister was a student at Cauvery. Being the hostel student of the College, she was happy to meet the students and shared with them her own experience of the same campus. In her Facebook page she has expressed her boundless happiness for having addressed the Students of the College where she has graduated earlier. |
