RED RIBBON CLUB

Cauvery College for women is its milestone of development has added a new feather to its cap by inaugurating the Red Ribbon Club in the college on 7.10.2005 to compact the social wit – HIV/AIDS. Under the able guidance of madam Principal and RRC program officer. 50 students were enrolled as the volunteers of Red Ribbon Club.Blood Donation Camp, Blood Grouping Camp was conducted on the Inaugural Day.

Aims and objectives

To create awareness about HIV/AIDS to the student community and general public

To propagate proper information regarding HIV/AIDS

To alleviate myths and misconception about HIV/AIDS

To strengthen the basic moral values among student communities

To emphasis more on healthy recreational practices – Yoga, Mediation, Sports, Games and Spirituality
