As per NAAC’s recommendation we have initiated Research in the following ways:

• Research in the Campus

• The College offers research at M.Phil level in the following departments of Commerce,
  Computer Science and Social Work.
  
• Dr. (Mrs.) M. Umaselvi, Vice-Principal and Head, Department of Business Administration,
  Dr. (Mrs.) S. Sankari, Vice-Principal and Head, Department of Social Work,
  Dr.(Mrs.) V. Gomathy, Head, Department of Commerce and Dr. (Mrs.) D. Nirmala, Lecturer, Department of Social Work, has been recognized by Bharathidasan University to guide students leading to the degree of Doctor of Philosophy.

• Research with community

• The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India had sanctioned
  Rs.2,37,000 to Dr. F.X.Lovelina Little Flower, Lecturer, Department of Social Work
  towards the conduct of 30 sessions of Two training programme on “Role of teachers
  in strengthening Human Values to the society”. The project has been completed successfully
  by covering 125 schools in Trichirapalli Educational District and Training 750 Secondary
  Grade School teachers in the academic year 2005-2006
  
• TamilNadu State Council for Science and Technology[TNSCST] had sanctioned
  Rs.5000/- towards the conduct of a student project entitled “Nutritional Adequacy
  in Sports Persons” in the Department of Food Service Management and
  Dietetics for the academic year Management and Dietetics for the academic year 2005-2006.
