Dr.Shanthi and Dr.Lakshmi Praba alternatively visit the hostel daily for the purpose of medication to the sick students. They are provided with a separate room.
Emergency cases are taken by a separately arranged escorts to nearby hospitals. Arrangements are made for buying the medicines daily.
HEALTH CAMPS
- A general massive health check up “To know your health step in”, was organized from 07.02.2006 to 13.02.2006 for the benefit of all the students of our College.
- The general health check up was conducted by the dedicated team members headed by Dr.Rameswari Nallusamy, M.D.,D.GO.,FICOG.,FICMCH from Rana Maternity Hospital wherein the team identified various general and gynac problems of the students and they will be helped with follow up services.
- An eminent team from Dr.Agarwal Eye Hospital conducted a Special Eye Camp to screen the eyes of the students.
- The Dental check up was carried out by Dr.Sankara Narayanan, MDS Dental Surgeon, consultant in Sea Horse Hospital,KMC,Trichy. The dental problem of the students were diagnosed and advised treatment.
- The massive health programme helped all the students to have clear idea about their health status. Mrs.I.Jeyanthi of Department of Social Work had taken efforts to organize the health check up for all the students.
