Cauvery Past Students Association plays a formiddable role in identifying economically weak students and donating them with contribution in many forms.
CAPSA has been aiding students in many kinds. They pay tuition fees, mess fees, university fees and bus fees to certain selected students who belong to economically weaker section.
CAPSA has borne the college tuition fees for two students from Child labour Elimination and Effective Rehabiltation Society (CHEERS) School for their entire degree programme. The CAPSA striving hard hard to enhance the educational status of needy children. Another development milestone of CAPSA is inauguration of FREE LEGAL AID CENTRE for the benefit of all the students in the college Campus. In the Free legal aid center Ms. J. Sudha, (an illustrious alumini of Dept. of Social Work) advocate is catering to the legal need of the students.
Special programme on pre marital counselling was organized in the CAPSA by a aynamic alumini Ms. Janet Vergenia, Dept. of Social Work during the year 2004.
CAPSA is very much enlightened to organize an effective and interactive workshop for the students and teachers with the support of our illustrious alumini Ms. Lalitha (Dept. of BBA and M.Com), Learning Corporate Trainer, CSC India Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore gained 14 years of experience and conducted 5000 programmes. The theme of the workshop is effective communication skill training for the students and creative teaching for the students.
