RED RIBBON CLUB

        Cauvery College for women is its milestone of development has added a new feather to its cap by inaugurating the Red Ribbon Club in the college on 7.10.2002 to compact the social with &ndash HIV/AIDS. Under the able guidance of madam Principal and RRC program officer. 20 students were enrolled as the volunteers of Red Ribbon Club.Blood Donation Camp, Blood Grouping Camp was conducted on Inaugural Day. 

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

  • To create awareness about HIV/AIDS to the student community and general public

  • To propagate proper information regarding HIV/AIDS

  • To alleviate myths and misconception about HIV/AIDS

  • To strengthen the basic moral values among student communities

  • To emphasis more on healthy recreational practices –Yoga, Meditation, Sports, Games and Spirituality

SPECIAL ACTIVITIES

     The special camps are carried out in a systematic way, with much preparation so as,to have a clear outlook of the village for letter. Intervention by the volunteers. The main objective of the volunteers and to living a change in the village folk by educating them in various spheres of life. Based on the problems of the village, priority and efforts are undertaken by the NSS volunteers to minimize the problems of the Village.
